Ingredients: (for about 15 biscuits)
- 100 g of white sugar
- 80 g of brown sugar
- 110 g of soft butter
- 150 g of Ruggeri type 2 flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 whole egg
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1 teaspoon fine salt
- 60g chopped dark chocolate (or drops)
- 60g chopped milk chocolate (or drops)
- 60 g chopped hazelnuts
Procedure:
- In a bowl, mix together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, a teaspoon of fine salt and the soft butter using a hand whisk.
- Add the whole egg and the orange peel. Sift the type 2 flour with the baking powder and add to the mixture gently. Finally, add the two chocolates and the hazelnuts (chopped).
- The mixture will be soft, cover the bowl with cling film and leave to cool in the fridge for an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Form the dough into balls (use a kitchen spoon to help yourself) and place them on the baking tray.
- Cook for 15 minutes (non-fan oven).
- Let the biscuits cool and serve them with some good cold almond coffee.
