photo+presentation1.+okjpg Ingredients for 10 cakes:
  • 1 whole orange of about 200/230 g
  • 150 ml of water
  • 120 g of brown sugar
  • 225 g of Ruggeri whole wheat flour
  • 40 ml of seed oil
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 2 g of salt
Procedure: First, cut the orange into pieces and blend it finely in the mixer. Preheat the oven to 180°C. In a bowl, place the blended orange, water, oil and sugar. Mix well until the sugar dissolves. Mix the flour with the yeast and salt and add them to the liquid mixture. Mix with a whisk until the mixture is well combined to avoid lumps. Fill the molds up to 2/3 (a little more than half), place the mold in a baking pan and bake for about 25 minutes. Do the toothpick test; it should come out dry. Remove the cakes from the oven and let them cool before eating them. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
