Chocolate cake with cream and dark chocolate flakes | Dolce Paradiso cocoa mix

Ingredients: (for 2 focaccias)
  • 1 sachet of Ruggeri Cocoa Dolce Paradiso mix
  • 1 glass of fresh milk
  • 1 glass of fresh whipping cream
  • 50g dark chocolate (chipped)
Preparation
  1. Heat the oven to 200°C, butter and flour a round cake tin (20 cm in diameter) and set it aside.
  2. In a large bowl pour the contents of the Ruggeri preparation and add only a glass of fresh milk. With a hand whisk mix until you obtain a homogeneous mixture without lumps and bubbles.
  3. Pour the mixture into the mold and bake for 25 minutes, then lower the temperature to 180°C and bake for another 15 minutes. Remember: NEVER open the oven for the first 20 minutes. Always check with a toothpick to see if it is cooked - after about 30 minutes in the oven, not before.
  4. Let the cake base cool.
  5. Meanwhile, using an electric whisk, whip the cream with a spoonful of powdered sugar. Place in the fridge.
  6. Remove the cake base from the mold, cut it in half and fill with cream. I then closed the cake by covering it with more cream and finishing with dark chocolate flakes.
