Recipe from " True Love Recipes "
Ingredients:- 250 g 00 flour
- 20 g potato starch
- 230 g sugar
- 250 ml unsweetened whipping cream
- 3 eggs
- instant yeast for cakes
- 300 g strawberries
- toasted flaked almonds
- Using a whisk, beat the sugar and eggs until the mixture becomes light and frothy.
- Pour in the cream slowly; add the sifted flour+starch+yeast, in 3 times.
- Add the strawberries, cut into pieces and lightly floured (so that they don't end up on the bottom of the cake during cooking) and the toasted almond flakes and pour the mixture into a buttered and floured springform pan (I also put baking paper).
- Sprinkle the surface with a little granulated sugar and bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 30-35 minutes (test with a toothpick). Remove from the oven, let cool and serve.
