A very curious recipe: pepper biscuits , ideal for a lively breakfast with a new taste . Black pepper gives the spelt dough that extra flavor that at the same time remains delicate and very pleasant. To prepare these delicious biscuits "Luciana in Cucina" has chosen to use Ruggeri Spelt Flour : a versatile flour, ideal for any sweet or savory preparation.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Ruggeri Spelt Flour
  • 1 egg
  • 120 g soft butter
  • 80 g sugar
  • 5 g black pepper
  • 1 pinch Himalayan pink salt

Pepper biscuits procedure

In the mixer, beat the egg and sugar, then add all the other ingredients and mix carefully. Form a ball of dough and put it to rest in the refrigerator, wrapped in cling film.

After an hour, take the dough and roll it out with a rolling pin on a well-floured work surface. Shape the cookies by cutting the dough with a cookie cutter of your choice. Place the pepper cookies on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Bake at 170°C for about 20 minutes. Leave to cool in the pan and then enjoy! For storage, use a tin box.
