Farro and apple plumcake, without milk or butter | Farro Spelt flour

Ingredients :
  • 250 g of Ruggeri Spelt Flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 60 g sunflower seed oil
  • 100 g of orange juice
  • Grated peel of 1 orange
  • A sachet of baking powder
  • One large apple or 2 small ones
Procedure: Place the sugar and eggs in the bowl and mix for 2 minutes at speed 4. Add the orange juice, oil, grated orange peel and mix for 1 min. Speed ​​4. Add the spelt flour , the yeast and mix for 40 seconds at speed 5. Pour the mixture into a previously oiled and floured plumcake mould. Peel the apples , remove the seeds, cut them into slices and arrange them in a row on the surface of the plumcake. Bake in a hot oven at 180° for about 40-50 minutes or until cooked, checking the internal cooking with a toothpick which must be dry. Let it cool, remove it from the mold, place it on a tray and serve.
