Stracciatella cake with yogurt | Arifa Organic Flour

Torta stracciatella con yogurt | Arifa Farina Bio A quick and easy yogurt cake that everyone loves thanks to the chocolate pieces that give it the stracciatella flavor ! The blogger "La cucina di Pippicalzina" chose to use Arifa Farina Bio for the base, a blend of organic flours with durum wheat, soft wheat, spelt and corn! Stracciatella cake with Arifa Ruggeri: a must-try!

Ingredients:

  • 200 g chocolate in irregular pieces
  • 100 g of Arifa Organic Flour Ruggeri
  • 150 g corn starch (cornflour or potato starch)
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml of whole plain yogurt
  • 100 ml of sunflower seed oil
  • 180 g sugar
  • a sachet of yeast
  • a sachet of vanilla

Procedure for the stracciatella cake

To prepare the Torta stracciatella con yogurt , start by separating the egg whites from the yolks and placing the latter in a bowl with the sugar. Beat everything until the mixture is light and frothy. Gradually add the yogurt and then the oil. Sift the flour, cornstarch and yeast well, then add them to the egg and sugar mixture. Now add the vanilla. Mix everything well and beat the egg whites until stiff. Then add them slowly to prevent them from deflating. Finally add the chocolate pieces and pour the mixture into the buttered and floured cake pan. Bake in a hot oven at 180° for about an hour. Always do the toothpick test to check that the cake is perfectly cooked. Remove the Torta stracciatella con yogurt from the oven and let it cool, then sprinkle it with icing sugar.
