Corn (ZeamaysL.) is a cereal coming from South America, also known in Italy as maize: a name that recalls its exotic origins.
Fumetto di Mais Ruggeri flour is obtained from innermost part of the grain of corn and is characterized by a particularly fine grain size.
It is ideal for the preparation of polenta, sweets and biscuits.
It can be used also for baking: you can find many recipes for bread, pizza or focaccia based on corn flour to make at home.

Fumetto di Mais Ruggeri flour is perfect for homemade polenta preparation, but also for rustic corn biscuits, like the Venetian Zaleti. This flour can be used to prepare tasty bread, pizzas and focaccias, mixing it with wheat flour. Here is our recipe for preparing a delicious polenta.
Soft Polentina Recipe - ready in 3 minutes
Serves 4: Pour 600 ml of water and a teaspoon of salt into a saucepan. When the water boils, remove the saucepan from the heat. Slowly pour in 100 g of Corn Flour, stirring with a whisk. Place the saucepan back on the heat and bring to the boil. Cook for 3 minutes.
Ingredients: corn flour (Zea mays).
May contain milk, eggs, soy, sesame seeds, lupins, cereals containing gluten.
