Fat-Free Chocolate Orange Brick

Ingredients
1st version: donut cake
  • 300 g of organic Arifa flour
  • juice of 3 oranges
  • 300 g of granulated sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • the peel of an orange
  • 3 eggs
  • 90g dark chocolate chips
  • a pinch of salt
2nd version: tile
  • 300 g of organic Arifa flour
  • juice of 3 oranges
  • 300 g of granulated sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • the peel of an orange
  • 3 eggs
  • dark chocolate (bar) cut into chunks
  • homemade orange peel jam
  • a pinch of salt
Preparation
Turn the oven on to 180° in a bowl we put the flour mixed with the yeast, with the sugar and the orange zest and mix well, then we add the egg yolks and the orange juice and continue to mix, we add the chocolate, we whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt, and we incorporate them into the mixture delicately with a spatula. Place in the chosen mould (either a donut mould or a plum cake mould), cook in a preheated oven at 180° for approximately 40 minutes (do the toothpick test) Once cooked, let it cool, cut it in two parts and fill it as desired. I filled it with orange peel jam. the combination of the bitterness of the peel with the chocolate is excellent. We reassemble the cake and serve. As I said before, I used jam for the filling, but it's also excellent with orange curd. Try it and you'll see!
