Procedure for Black Cherry Muffins

To make good black cherry muffins, start like this. Mix the flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a large bowl. Melt the butter in the microwave or in a bain-marie, add the milk and egg. Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture. Distribute the dough into the paper cups, filling them a little more than halfway. Add two cherries with a little of their preserving liquid on top of each one. If you like, you can also add a little of their syrup to the dough. Bake for about 25 minutes at 180°. Your Black Cherry Muffins are ready!
