Salus Functional Bread: the bread of Health
Salus functional bread, the only
“light” bread with 7 nutritional benefits .

healthy and correct diet . The great success of bread made with this flour lies in its extraordinary nutritional properties and in its original and unmistakable taste.
Ingredients
- type 1 soft wheat flour
- oat fiber
- wheat proteins
- lupin flour (gritz)
- wheat fiber and bran
- low sodium sea salt
- dried brewer's yeast
Nutritional values and equivalent statements
- low calorie content = light
- low fat = few fats
- high fiber = rich in fiber
- high protein = rich in protein
- reduced carb rate = less carbs
- reduced sodium rate = less sodium
- with beta-glucans
Please note: to obtain the same nutritional values, it is necessary to use the same proportions as in the basic recipe.
Preparation by hand
Pour 430 ml. of warm water into a bowl, add the contents of the Salus bread mix. Mix vigorously with a ladle, until you obtain a smooth dough. Turn the bowl upside down onto a floured surface. Form small loaves to insert into the previously oiled molds. Leave to rise for 60-120 minutes. Turn on the oven and bring it to 210°C. Add a small pan of water to the oven and put the molds in. Cook for 20-40 minutes, depending on the size. Also suitable for a bread machine.
Advantages
Reducing sodium intake helps maintain normal blood pressure. Oat β-glucans reduce blood cholesterol. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 3g of β-glucans from oats, barley or mixtures of such β-glucans, equal to about 150g of Salus bread.
