Torta con confettura di fichi | Arifa Farina Bio Procedure Prepare the dough: put all the ingredients in a food processor and mix for 1 minute. Divide the dough into 2 parts, one larger and one smaller. Roll out the larger dough on a sheet of baking paper (use another sheet to place on top of the dough to help roll out the dough more easily) and form a disk slightly larger than the diameter of the mold, so as to cover the edges well. Place it in the cake pan with the baking paper (the same one used to roll out the dough). Spread the fig jam with a spoon on the dough in the pan. With the remaining dough, roll out a smaller puff pastry disk, always using the baking paper and, using this, turn it upside down on the jam, taking care to close the edges well with your fingers. Bake in a static oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes, until golden brown. Leave to cool, turn upside down onto a serving plate and, if desired, sprinkle with icing sugar.
