Pane Salus: what it is and what its ingredients are
Salus is a healthy and light bread, with oat beta-glucans, which help reduce blood cholesterol levels*. It contains several natural and high-quality ingredients, such as type 1 wheat flour, less refined than 00 flour, oat fiber, low-sodium sea salt; these ingredients, mixed together, make it a unique, functional, light, healthy bread. In addition, compared to common white bread**, Salus Bread can boast truly excellent nutritional values:

- More than double the fiber
*Oat beta-glucan has been shown to lower/reduce blood cholesterol levels. Hypercholesterolemia is a risk factor for the development of coronary heart disease. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 3 g of Beta-glucans (approximately 150 g of Salus Functional Bread) - Reg. (EC) n. 1924/2006 and Reg. (EC) n. 1160/2011.

How to use the Salus Bread mix
You can use the mix for Salus Bread both by hand and with the bread machine: you can find the procedure on the back of the package. Add the water, knead and let rise: no other ingredients are needed for the dough! The mix already contains yeast and salt.
With one pack you get 600 grams of bread. We recommend cutting it into slices and freezing it in the freezer: you can defrost the portion as needed!
This mix is equipped with the patented packaging Ruggeri Magic Pocket which separates the yeast from the other ingredients. In this way the characteristics of the product are preserved without the use of preservatives.
