    How to use our Dried Sourdough with Yeast

    Our Dried Sourdough with Yeast is available in the 250 g package but also in the convenient 5 Kg professional package. It is easy-to-use: it just replaces the usual brewer’s yeast.

    Dosage: 10% of Dried Sourdough with Yeast on the weight of the flour.

    An example: add 50 g of Dried Sourdough with Yeast to 500 g of flour and follow your favorite recipe for bread, pizza, breadsticks or crackers.

    • 30% less calories
    • 50% less Carbs
    • 40% less Sodium
    • 40% more Protein
    • More than twice of the fibers

    It also contains a high concentration of Beta-glucans, which are oat fibres that help to maintain normal blood cholesterol concentrations, according to the European Food Safety Authority (Efsa) regulations. If consumed in the minimum amount of 3 g per day - through the equivalent of 150 g of Salus - Beta-glucans have the property of reducing cholesterol.

    How to use our Dried Spelt Sourdoug

    This organic dried sourdough is easy to use: just replace the normal fresh or instant brewer's yeast with this incredible product.

    The dosage to use is: 20% of Organic Dried Spelt Sourdough with yeast on the weight of the flour.

    Then let your dough rise for 2 hours at room temperature.

    An example: just add 100 g of the preparation to 500 g of flour and follow the instructions of your favorite recipe for bread, pizza, focaccia, breadsticks or crackers.

    What do numbers “00”, “0”, “1” and “2” represent?

    In soft wheat flour the numbering represents 30 % of the flour's degree of refinement: Type “00” corresponds to a very refined flour which will therefore be deprived of most of the nutritional elements of the wheat.

    Type “1” Wheat Flour is naturally rich in nutrients while maintaining the characteristics for the baking of Type “0” Refined Flour. Type “1” flour contains more bran and wheat germ, the richest parts in nutrients.
