Pane Funzionale Salus® is a mix of flours with 7 nutritional benefits.
- Type "1" wheat flour
- Oat fibre
- Wheat protein (gluten)
- Lupin flour and gritz
- Wheat fibre
- Wheat bran
- Low sodium sea salt
- Dried brewer’s yeast.
It may contain milk, eggs, soy and sesame seeds.
This mix contains only natural ingredients, combined together to obtain a bread with a unique taste. Salus Functional Bread is an ally against cholesterol, thanks to oat beta-glucans which help to reduce cholesterol level in the blood (at least 3 g of Beta-glucans/day = 150 g of Salus Functional Bread - according to Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 and Regulation (EC) No 1160/2011).

Salus Functional Bread: not a common white bread
Salus Functional Bread is different from white bread thanks to its 7 nutritional benefits: low calorie, low fat, low carbs, high fibre, with oat beta-glucans, high protein and low sodium. Compared to common white bread, Salus contains:
- 30% less calories
- 50% less Carbs
- 40% less Sodium
- 40% more Protein
- More than twice of the fibers
It also contains a high concentration of Beta-glucans, which are oat fibres that help to maintain normal blood cholesterol concentrations, according to the European Food Safety Authority (Efsa) regulations. If consumed in the minimum amount of 3 g per day - through the equivalent of 150 g of Salus - Beta-glucans have the property of reducing cholesterol.
